The Doctor is in. During tonight’s Super Bowl, Marvel unveiled a new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, this year’s upcoming follow-up to the 2017 original. The sequel looks as promising as ever, full of twists and turns into the mind-bending multiverse with Benedict Cumberbatch‘s Stephen Strange and Elizabeth Olsen‘s Wanda Maximoff at the helm of the wild ride. You’ll probably want to experience on the biggest screen possible — but if you’ve got youngsters or prefer to stay at home to watch, we have an idea as to when this movie might air on Disney+.

There’s a lot going on in the trailer, so best to just sum it up in one word: madness. Some other noteworthy moments include the (potentially evil?) return of Scarlet Witch, Rachel McAdams’ Dr. Christine Palmer, a tease of Hayley Atwell’s Captain Carter, and possibly Patrick Stewart’s X-Men character, Professor X. That last one hasn’t been confirmed just yet, but Marvel fans are already speculating the “mysterious voice” suggesting to tell some fellow the truth. What that is, who that is, and how it applies to Doctor Strange? Who knows?

So, when will we be able to watch Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on Disney+? Keep on reading to find out.

When will Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness be on Disney+?

We don’t know the official Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness streaming release date, but at Disney’s recent earnings call, CEO Bob Chapek revealed that it’ll launch on the streamer sometime this summer. But is that early June? Late August? Though this is by no means a pattern, some previous Disney releases have headed to the service after 45 days; while other Marvel movies like Eternals took 68 days. So somewhere between June 20 and July 13 seems like a reasonable guess, though is by no means confirmation.
