Supermodel turned designer and developer Yolanda Hadid is parting with a property that has long been the heartbeat of her family’s private life. 

The 60-year-old Dutch former model put her farm up for sale on Friday, asking $10.995 million. This is the first time the property, which she turned into a haven of design and tranquility, has been on the market.

Yolanda shared with the Daily Mail that after her divorce and a prolonged struggle with chronic neurological Lyme disease, she felt the need to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life.

‘I longed for a sanctuary where I could heal and reconnect with Mother Earth just the way I grew up in Holland.’

She explained, ‘When I discovered the farm, it was love at first sight. There were no gates back then; I parked on the main road and walked down the long driveway, feeling an incredible energy. I knew it was home even before setting eyes on the buildings.’

Situated in Pennsylvania, this expansive estate has been a setting of many cherished family moments for Yolanda and her children, Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid.

Yolanda fondly remembered, ‘Each of my children had their private retreat — the carriage house, the lavender house, or the corn crib — yet they would gather back at the main farmhouse for meals, embracing farm-to-table living and enjoying dinners by the fire. These meals were the heart of our farm life.’

In 2021, the Guest in Residence founder revealed she chose to do a home birth due to COVID restrictions that would have kept Yolanda and Bella out of her delivery room. 

Gigi owns her own farmhouse property, in New Hope, in one of Bucks County’s most coveted areas. 

Yolanda purchased the property back in 2017 in a bid to be closer to her children, who live in Manhattan.

‘It’s where we can all come and feel like ourselves again,’ she told ELLE recently.

‘When I’m here, I just get in my truck and go to the store. Kids get excited at the market, but they don’t take their phones out.’

Her dinner, which she says she likes to be her lightest meal of the day, was vegetable soup. 

At the time, many viewers expressed concern that she wasn’t eating enough and living in a ‘a constant detox.’

‘My overall vision for this house was industrial, modern, relaxed,’ the mom-of-three told the publication. ‘[I want the vibe to be] enjoying life, put your boots up on the table and not worry about anything.

‘My partner took me to Fort Worth on our first date six-and-a-half years ago, and I fell in love with it.

‘I just love the culture, the people are extraordinary. We’ve built such a beautiful community, and I just feel home here.’

Yolanda – who confirmed her engagement to construction company CEO Joseph Jingoli, 66, after six years together during the chat – started the tour off by showing her spacious living room. 

Her youngest daughter, Bella, also lives in the Lone Star State. 

In an interview with British Vogue, she spoke about what inspired her to uproot her world from Pennsylvania. 

‘At the time I was a 26-year-old living with her mom on our [Pennsylvania] farm that I also pay for, feeling [like] a full tiny baby child. They were basically like: “Just come. You can ride, sleep, tap out. You just can’t be alone,”‘ she said. 

‘So I go,’ Bella continued. ‘I’m with my stepdad. We move cows, we’re on trail rides, and I’m starting to feel a little better, but just still dealing with my own stuff. Then, the next day, I meet my boyfriend. I saw him walk in, and it was like a gust of fresh air.’

The model revealed she met Adan Banuelos, the son of Ascencion Banuelos, the first Mexican-American to be inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame, at a local horse show.

‘He basically came in, walked into the exhibit hall, which is where we do all of the show stuff. I was getting a cowboy hat fitted. I just saw him and I was like that’s the…I always wanted the cowboy,’ she gushed. ‘And he’s pretty gorgeous, let me tell you something.’ 

Adan is a superstar of the horse riding world and became one of the youngest people to even be inducted into the NCHA Hall of Fame in 2017.

‘He works for his family, he works for his customers, and he works to hopefully build a home and a family one day,’ she added. ‘I can’t wait to be a mom.’
