An adaptation of the Steve Niles and Damien Worm’s comic series hit the screens in January 2020 with a bang. A story which is based on monster hunting has been widely appreciated for the kind of characterization it has presented on the screens. J.C. MacKenzie as Fred Allen and Tamara Taylor as Deloris Allen have played an exceptionally brilliant role, and this is the reason why fans are curious to know the details of the second season.
They are undercover members of a group named Presidio, and the series also shows how these agents hide the facts with their children. So there is a hell lot of thrill which is there and the first season’s end is the reason why the fans are eager to know how things unfold in the second season. Will the couple be able to convince the kid why they hid their real identity? And also a fact about their grandfather, who also happened to be an agent of Presidio.
Do we have any confirmation regarding the renewal of the second season?
We don’t have a confirmation per se on the renewal of the series, but there is a lot which is unanswered in the first season. So there is ample chance that the series will be renewed, but the chances of an official announcement aren’t coming soon. The series premiered on 23rd January 2020, and not a week has passed, so expecting an official announcement is way too outrageous.
What about the release date of the second series?
If we see a standard release date by Netflix, we can easily say that the series will take almost a year-long time to renew the series. But there is a contention this time as the significant virus outbreak has shaken the world, and there is no chance that the series will start filming anytime soon, so there is a lot that goes into the renewal of the series. Amid the lockdown, almost everything came crashing down. So nothing can be said for sure as it is going to take some time for things to become healthy. Once an official announcement is made in this regard, we will update you with the relevant details.
Is any change in cast possible?
The way things wrapped up in the first season, there are minor chances of having any alteration with the cast, so there is nothing to worry about. All the major characters are slated to make their return to the second season. Change in cast usually happens when there is to be a point of inflexion in the storyline, and there isn’t a possibility of any change in the cast. The second season will demand more answers, and this is something which is going to take the major portion of the second season.
It will be interesting to see how the two agents would take up things while dealing with their kids who, till the end of the first season, were oblivious to the real identity of their parents.
