Amethi Arif ka Saras is a friendship story between Arif and Saras birds, which had been going on for almost a year in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, broke today. The Forest Department team shifted the stork to Samaspur Bird Sanctuary.

Arif of Amethi had come into the limelight because of his friendship with the state bird Saras and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had also praised the example of his friendship in the past. After which it was in a lot of headlines on social media. But now this stork has been sent to Samaspur Bird Sanctuary for conservation.

A resident of Jodhanpur Madanka village of Jamo block, Uttar Pradesh’s state bird stork used to be friends with Arif and about a month ago, the friendship between stork and Arif came into the limelight through social media.

After which former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav himself reached Arif’s house and appreciated the example of his friendship and praised Arif, but now this friendship has broken. In the presence of the team of Amethi Forest Department and the team of Samaspur Bird Sanctuary, Rae Bareilly, the stork was released to its natural habitat with protective measures.

After the departure of the stork, Arif, the friend of the stork, is very sad and has lost his mind. At the same time, their family members are also in bad condition crying.

After taking away the stork, Arif’s younger brother Armaan said we are very sad after the departure of the stork. We are so sad that we cannot express it in words. We had a deep affection for Saras and he used to live like a family member among all of us.

Our only demand is that even though the stork has been taken away, it should be kept there in the same freedom as it was here.

Arif’s mother Fatima said that along with Arif, she had great affection for the stork as well, but today the Forest Department employees came and took the stork with them. Saras was staying with our family for the last year. We are all deeply saddened by his passing.

Actually, this whole matter came to light from Matka village of Gauriganj tehsil of Amethi. A video from here had become quite viral in the past. The friendship between a young man and a stork was visible in the video.

This video created panic on social media. It is seen in the video that a young man is going on a bike and a stork is coming behind him flying in the air. The talk of friendship between Saras and Arif spread across the country.
