The afternoon discussion programme Steven and Chris, co-hosted by Chris Hyndman, is broadcast on CBC Television. Hyndman is also an actor and television personality from Canada. He was born in Ottawa, Ontario, and grew up in Paradise, Newfoundland, where he still resides now. He appeared in the first three seasons of Designer Guys, a Canadian design programme that is aired in seventeen countries with co-host Steven Sabados. Hyndman co-hosted the show with Sabados for the first three seasons. After launching Design Rivals in 2003, Sabados and Hyndman went on to host a makeover programme called So Chic With Steven and Chris, which was then followed by another makeover show called Design Rivals II. Sabados and Hyndman are both out and proud to be homosexual. Despite the fact that they had been together off-screen for a long time, they did not officially declare their relationship until 2008. Sabados and Hyndman made an appearance on the CBC Kids with Mamma Yamma programme in 2009.
