Daniel Elena-Lopez was a suspect in the shooting at the North Hollywood Store. He was also an ex-con with a lengthy criminal record that included domestic violence and car theft.
Before noon, the LAPD received a radio call reporting an assault with a deadly weapon at the store. When some officers arrived on the scene, they discovered that there was an active shooter situation.
There were also reports of shots being fired. When police arrived, they discovered the suspect assaulting a victim. As a result, they began firing openly.
Officers fired numerous shots, but one officer’s bullet struck the suspect, Daniel, killing him. Valentina Orellana-Peralta, 14, was killed when one of his bullets struck the wall of a fitting room.

Daniel was the prime suspect in the North Hollywood Store Shooting investigation. On December 23, 2021, he was fatally shot in the chest at the Burlington store.
Lopez was killed on the spot after being shot. His body was later exhumed and placed in an ambulance.
According to ABC7, Daniel was also an ex-convict who had an extensive criminal history. Previously, he was arrested for domestic battery and had a guilty plea for fleeing from the police.

Daniel Elena-Lopez was only 24 years of age when he was shot abruptly.
He was born in the year 1997 but his precise birthday facts are off the grid. He was based in Los Angeles and had American nationality.

If Daniel was alive, he would have faced more charges for assaulting people with a weapon in the broad daylight. But he passed away after a gunshot struck his chest.
As of now, Elena-Lopez has perished and laid on a deathbed.
