Daryl Cronk Death Cause: According to the Avila University Athletics Department, Avilla Baseball Coach Daryl Cronk died on December 26, 2021, around 2 a.m.
Daryl Cronk was a former All-American pitcher for Pitsburg State University and one of the most dedicated and long-serving members of the Avilla Athletics community.
“This morning was hard,” Avilla University Director of Athletics Shawn Summe wrote. Daryl was a great and genuine man, he added. May his soul be guided to a place of rest in heaven.

Avilla Baseball Coach Daryl Cronk served as assistant director of athletics overseeing outdoor facilities. In addition to seven winning seasons in nine years, Cronk had led Avilla to the NAIA.

As a player, Cronk was all-conference at Belton High School and went on to an All-American career as a pitcher at Pittsburg State in NCAA Division II.
He returned to his alma mater as pitching coach at Pitt State in 2000. From 2004-07, he was an assistant coach at Pembroke Hill High School in Kansas City.
In 2007, he was named Missouri State High School Assistant Coach of the Year. From 2008-10, he was an assistant at the University of Central Missouri and helped the Mules to the NCAA.
He earned a Master’s degree in Athletic Administration from Central Missouri. Cronk lives in Belton, Mo. He is the father of three. His children are Bailee, and sons Blake and Brett.

Friends and families are mourning his premature death. The gofundme page set up by Preston, Daryl’s nephew, stated that he was under medical observation and currently fighting against the odd.
Furthermore, the gofundme page indicated the seriousness of his health and asked the well-wishers of the coach to help him financially through donations.

The gofundme raised almost $19k, and it read-‘Hi, my name is Preston and I’m Daryl’s nephew. Coach Daryl is currently in the hospital under sedation and is now fighting. Anyone who knows Daryl knows he would give the shirt off his back for anyone. Cronk has done so much for so many people. This fundraiser will go to help his kids with expenses and hospital bills. All donations are greatly appreciated!’
The exact reason for Cronk’s death is not published yet.
There is speculation that he might have been suffering from Covid recently. However, the relevancy of this information is yet it be confirmed.

He continued, “Anyone who knows Daryl, knows he would give the shirt off his back for anyone. He has done so much for so many people.
This fundraiser will go to help his kids with expenses and hospital bills.” However, this appeal went in vain as the athlete is no longer with us at this time of the year.

Daryl Cronk Wikipedia encompasses a long history involving basketball games. He was a fantastic coach and mentor.
Daryl was a former All-American pitcher at Pittsburg State. He was one of the most invested and longest-tenured members of the Avila Athletics community.
He completed his tenth season as the head coach of the Eagle baseball team in May.
Cronk amassed more than 250 career wins in a tenure that included six conference tournament appearances and three NAIA tournament appearances since he became Avila’s head coach ahead of the 2012 campaign.

Avila University Director of Athletics Shawn Summe wrote on Sunday that this morning was hard to learn about his death. Daryl was a great and genuine man.
Moreover, the director added that His ability to develop relationships with his players, coaches and those he meets is a lost art today.
Cronk has a wife and kids, but the precise details of the family members are yet to be published.
