Brianna Keilar is an Australian-born American political commentator, journalist and co-anchor of CNN’s New Day.

Brianna Marie Keilar was born on September 21, 1980, in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia to Australian father, Glenn, and his American wife, Miriam. She lost her mother to leukaemia on May 17, 2016.

Regarding her education, Brianna Keilar graduated from Mission Viejo High School in 1998, and later attended the University of California, Berkeley, from which she graduated in 2001 with dual bachelor’s degrees in mass communications and psychology.

Brianna Keilar got engaged to the director of ‘National Security Council’ at the White House, Fernando Lujan in July 2016. The two got married in December in Las Vegas that year. Brianna was previously married to producer and a sound manager, Dave French, however, they later parted ways.
