Robert Elmer Kitchener Haswell (born 1971 in London, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian and American broadcast meteorologist, television and radio presenter, and speaker. Rob is a multi-award winning actor who won the ACTRA Performance Award at the Canadian Video Awards for his on-camera performance in “Outside Edition.” For his storey “Global Warming: What it Means for Wisconsin,” he was nominated for an Emmy Award in Science and Weather Reporting. He’s also won an Emmy for best weathercast in 2011 after being nominated five times for his work as a television meteorologist. He was honoured with an Associated Press Award in 2008,
with his colleagues anchors, correspondents, and producers, for their continuous coverage of the severe winter of 2008. He was also part of the Milwaukee Press Club’s crew that was recognised for its continuous coverage of the 105th Harley-Davidson Anniversary. The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association has honoured him for his efforts as a broadcast meteorologist and co-host of Real Milwaukee. The City of Milwaukee honoured him and his co-hosts of Real Milwaukee by naming a day in their honour. He has also received the American Meteorological Society (AMS) Seal of Approval, the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal, and the National Weather Association Seal of Approval as a meteorologist.
