He also claimed that during his fifth year in prison, he received a letter from his wife requesting a divorce. Buttrose’s wife, Pollyanna, was also pregnant with another man’s child at the time.
While in prison, Richard was unable to see his children. As a result, his only contact with them was through handprints and art pieces provided by his wife. The alleged drug dealer only saw his children grow up through photographs.
Finally, during the conversation, Buttrose stated that he did not seek compassion for his difficulties. He wants others to feel sorry for those who have suffered as a result of his incarceration.
