In November 2020, he joined the company as a fresh-faced, wide-eyed flight attendant, serving now-reduced domestic routes.

Following the 2008 election, he served the Taki electorate and acted as Minister of Immigration from 2011 to 2013.

He has also served on several agricultural sector trusts and councils and studied agriculture at Massey University.

From 1998 until 2005, the new Air New Zealand CEO sat on the Horowhenua District Council for eight years.

He will be in charge of all of New Zealand’s national airline’s operations and how they all work together to generate profit and growth.
