Taxi driver David Perry helped prevent the suicide bombers from wreaking more extensive damage.
As per reports, he was carrying one passenger in his cab. After Perry spotted the bomb with the passenger, he managed to escape the vehicle.
The wise taxi driver was able to lock the perpetrator inside the vehicle. It had stopped outside the miles from the Liverpool Women’s hospital.
According to Investigation, the targeted spot was Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral. The area was reportedly hosting the Remembrance Day service.
After the explosion, Counter Terrorism Police North West has arrested three men. They are from a different city and are suspected of the attack.
However, the authorities have not yet confirmed their involvement in the explosion.
