Habib Jackson Wiki

                                          Habib Jackson Biography

Who is Habib Jackson ?

A man who murdered his ex-girlfriend after arranging for her to pole dance for him was convicted by a jury today of killing her.

Louise Rump, 29, had agreed to her ex-partner Habib Jackson’s dance at her apartment in the town of Kensworth, Bedfordshire, on October 16, 2020.

But she was strangled and her body set on fire, she heard St Albans Crown Court.

Her body was discovered at the foot of her bed by firefighters who had been called by neighbors when they saw smoke coming from her apartment.

Prosecutor David Matthew said that Habib Jackson had made a “deal” with Louise.

‘She was going to dance for him in underwear that he chose. That deal went horribly wrong. Firefighters found her dead. They had killed her by suffocation,” he said.

Murder Louise Rump

Jackson, 32, from Toddington, Bedfordshire, denied murder but was convicted by a jury. He will be sentenced by Judge Michael Kay QC tomorrow.

Jackson’s business partner and fellow security guard, Christopher Hayward, also 32, of Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire, was acquitted of murder.

The prosecutor said Louise was alive and well earlier in the day when neighbors saw her and she exchanged WhatsApp messages with a cousin of hers until 11:15 a.m.

Mr Matthew continued: “Sometime between a quarter past eleven and noon she was killed.

The pathologist discovered that she had suffocated to death before her body was set on fire. There were signs of a seizure with bruising to her face, left hand, wrist and pelvis.

“The fire was quite a deliberate attempt to destroy any footprints her attacker might have left behind,” he said.

Jackson was seen pulling over to the side of the road and tossing down a sweater that had Louise’s blood on it and a cardboard box.

When firefighters entered the flat, they found a pole dancer’s pole in the living room and Louise’s body in the bedroom.

That’s where the fire started. The curtains had caught fire and there was smoke damage. At the foot of the bed was a plastic water bottle. There is reason to believe that there was gasoline or some accelerant to start the fire,” said Mr. Matthew.

The jury was told that Jackson referred to himself as Louise’s ‘Sugar Daddy’ on occasion. They had been involved in a relationship that had ended about a year earlier.

Investigation

Forensic work and house-to-house investigations followed Mrs Rump’s death at her home in Kensworth, Bedfordshire.
In an October 15 message, the day before her death, Jackson wrote to Louise: “It’s been a year baby since I’ve been where I belong.”

He continued: ‘Can’t you give me what I long for?’ She replied: ‘No’.

Matthew said Habib Jackson paid Louise Rump for “dealing questions” when she asked him about s*xual activity.

Referring to the planned pole dance, Jackson wrote: ‘G-string and underwear ready?’

When Jackson was questioned by police the day after the murder, he said they had an on-and-off relationship.

He denied being in the apartment on the day of the murder, but said he had been there another time when they had a game fight and she had scratched his face.
