Why Was Taylor Lopez Fired From The New York?

Taylor Lopez is allegedly a Washington Post journalist who was previously fired by the New York Times for falsified reporting.

Why Was Taylor Lopez Fired From The New York? Wikipedia

In today’s world, one of the most serious concerns is fake news. However, given the ecosystem of the digital arena, its haphazard distribution is extremely difficult to control.

It is, at the very least, not to be expected from larger names and news portals. Of course, verified sources can be easily identified for their carelessness in disseminating any type of information. This is exactly what happened to Taylor Lopez, a moderately well-known journalist. Let’s get into the specifics of her defamation and lawsuit.

Why Was Taylor Lopez Fired From The New York?

Taylor Lopez is said to have gotten fired from ‘The New York’ for her false reporting. Ariadna Jacob, an influencer and talent agent, filed a defamation suit against her for spreading false information about her business.

Taylor’s article, which was published in August 2020, had a significant impact on Jacob’s sales. Because of what Lopez said, she lost nearly $6.2 million and over 85 clients.

Further, this cannot be the only reason for getting fired as the Times themselves released a statement calling the businesswoman spineless for not being able to take constructive criticisms for her work.

However, recent Twitter posts have called her out for also leaking inappropriate images of people without their consent.

Washington Post Hires Journalist Accused Of Harassment – Taylor Lopez

According to an Instagram DM that has gone viral on Twitter, Taylor Lopez is being given work by the Washington Post despite her defamation case. It goes on to say that she is a moderately popular journalist named Taylor Lorenz who changed her name to Taylor Lopez in order to get hired.

On the other hand, some people are accusing these Instagram DMs of disseminating false information. According to the tweets, it is just another way to put someone down, and there is no truth to it.

The Washington Post has yet to confirm the gossip, and it remains unclear whether Taylor Lopez is the same journalist who was fired by ‘The New York’ and sued by a businessperson.

    Talyor Lopez Wikipedia

According to Twitter, Taylor Lopez is journalist Taylor Lorenz, who is already listed on Wikipedia. However, because there isn’t enough evidence to back up the claim, we’ll have to wait for a verified source.

On Linkedin, there is a writer, editor, and storyteller who does not work for the Washington Post.
