A major crash involving up to 15 cars has caused huge traffic delays for commuters heading into the Brisbane CBD on Tuesday morning. 

The vehicles collided on the northbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway just before 6am with the Juliette Street exit at Greenslopes now blocked. 

Ambulance crews assessed 13 patients with six taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Delays are expected to continue back to Upper Mount Gravatt with traffic already delayed by one hour as cars queue up for kilometres.

Drivers have been urged to avoid the area.

Around 50 firefighters were called to the club Goldfingers just after midnight to extinguish the blaze which police are treating as suspicious.

The building suffered severe damage from the inferno with both King and Londsdale streets closed. 

Nobody was injured in the fire, with Goldfingers having shut years ago amid Covid. 

Victoria Police said fire investigators will attend the scene on Tuesday morning.

‘There will be major delays as the intersection will be closed to traffic and pedestrians for some time,’ they said.
