Bill de Blasio finds himself in the spotlight once again, courtesy of a bold statement from his former partner.

Sporting her thoughts quite literally, she chose to express them on a T-shirt.

Nomiki Konst, a 41-year-old progressive political strategist who was in a relationship with the ex-New York City mayor until his involvement with another political figure, was seen grabbing coffee on Thursday, donning a blue T-shirt emblazoned with a pointed message in white letters.

The shirt read: “Men will literally do anything but go to therapy.”

The Daily Mail revealed exclusively on Tuesday that de Blasio had been unfaithful to Konst with Roxanna Valenzuela, the current mayor of South Tucson, Arizona.

Originally from Tucson herself but now living in New York, Konst was recognized for enhancing the 64-year-old de Blasio’s public image during their 10-month romance.

That all ended on election night – with Konst breaking up with de Blasio over his relationship with Valenzuela. 

De Blasio and Konst had been seen happily boosting Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani together just last month.

On Thursday, as Konst walked into the Château le Woof coffee shop in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens, she carried a copy of the Nation magazine that showed Mamdani’s face. 

Her take on the break-up?

‘Oh, I have no interest in being on the Real Housewives of South Tucson,’ Konst said. ‘I’m too busy being Olivia Pope in New York.’ 

Pope was the ultimate political fixer in the TV series Scandal. 

Konst is working with progressive political clients after serving as an investigative reporter for The Young Turks and a campaign surrogate for Bernie Sanders. 

De Blasio and Valenzuela didn’t do a good job keeping their relationship a secret. 

‘She’s telling everyone in Tucson, so that’s how the story got out,’ a source close to Valenzuela’s family told the Daily Mail. 

‘I don’t think she gets the level of what she’s doing is going to ruin people’s lives,’ the source added, characterizing Valenzuela as ‘narcissistic’ without thinking about the impact on her family.

She ‘clearly thinks she’s hit the jackpot’ with de Blasio,’ the source added.

De Blasio only follows 33 people on his Instagram account. Among them his now ex-girlfirend Nomiki Konst and his current lover Roxanna Valenzuela

De Blasio and Valenzuela did not return multiple requests for comment from the Daily Mail after attempts to reach them via email, phone calls, and social media messages. 

Valenzuela is a mother to a toddler born in 2023, as well as an older daughter, who graduated high school at the age of 16 this past June. 

She has a strictly co-parenting relationship with the toddler’s father, William ‘Billy’ Peard. 

The Daily Mail was also told by another source in Valenzuela’s orbit that she ‘is ruining her life, her kids’ lives, and [Peard’s] life to be famous.’ 

Online, Valenzuela – and also Konst – were among only 33 people the former New York City mayor was following on Instagram. 

The first picture of de Blasio and Valenzuela together was posted back on June 1. 

In another set, she is pressed into him during a visit to a New York City soup kitchen in September. 

The New York Post first reported on de Blasio and Konst’s split. 

De Blasio separated from his wife, Chirlane McCray, in 2023 after 29 years of marriage. 

They remain married, telling the New York Times that they were not planning to divorce and would instead date other people.
