In recent years, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have increasingly embraced designer fashion, each experiencing remarkable style evolutions.

While their wardrobes feature a mix of high street pieces and designers, the sisters show consistent loyalty to a handful of high-end brands.

For Princess Beatrice, Emilia Wickstead is a standout designer. The British label’s tailored looks and feminine hues perfectly match her refined fashion sense, as seen at events like Royal Ascot and Trooping the Colour.

Princess Eugenie, on the other hand, has a long-established affinity for Peter Pilotto, designer of her wedding dress, and often opts for his modern designs during public appearances.

Both sisters also prefer Self-Portrait, recognized for its detailed lace and elegant midi dresses, frequently selecting the brand for summer gatherings and royal functions.

Among other luxury favorites, Chanel, with its signature tweed attire and accessories, and Erdem, valued for its romantic floral designs and rich textures, have won the sisters’ admiration.

Below, we delve into Beatrice and Eugenie’s finest looks to date.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have shown an increasing love for designer labels in recent years, as they have both showcased impressive style transformations

The transformations in their style choices highlight the increasing love Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have for high-end designer labels.

Chanel

Eugenie made a stylish statement at the 2023 Abu Dhabi Art exhibition, wearing a classic Chanel tweed blazer – a hallmark of the French fashion house.

She paired the structured jacket with a sleek black maxi skirt, buckled slingback pumps and gold drop earrings.

Eugenie’s affinity for Chanel extends beyond tailoring – she also has a growing collection of the brand’s iconic handbags.

At Tate Modern’s 25th Anniversary Fundraising Gala in June, she carried her eye-catching orange Chanel AS1174 Trendy Spirit bag, debuted in 2022.

Another favourite is her black Quilted Flap Bag in lambskin, embellished with pearls – a staple she’s turned to for various occasions, including the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Beatrice, meanwhile, often steps out in Chanel’s signature footwear. She owns several versions of the label’s neutral-tone shoes with contrast toe caps, including both ballerina flats and slingbacks.

From royal engagements to more casual moments – she once swapped heels for flats after a night out – Beatrice proves that Chanel shoes offer both style and comfort.

Self-Portrait

Self-Portrait has become something of a wardrobe staple for Beatrice, who has been spotted in at least ten dresses from the cult label – four more than the Princess of Wales, who has six in rotation.

Most recently, Beatrice stepped out in the brand’s Sequin Knit Tailored Midi Dress for Borne’s Wonderland Gala 2025 at the V&A, showcasing her continued love for its  designs.

One of her most-worn pieces is the Tailored Crepe and Chiffon Midi Dress, which she has chosen for four major occasions, including Queen Elizabeth II’s vigil at Westminster Hall.

Eugenie has followed suit, incorporating Self-Portrait into her own wardrobe. She embraced the recent heatwave in a white linen peplum dress with intricate laser-cut detailing.

She previously wore the Chiffon Scallop Midi Dress in Blue for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations at Trooping the Colour in 2022.

Erdem

Erdem has become a firm favourite for the sisters, with each royal embracing the brand’s romantic aesthetic.

Eugenie owns at least three Erdem dresses, one of which carries particular significance. In 2018, she wore the label’s Bernette dress, featuring the Windsor Wall floral print, to Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot.

The print itself was created as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, drawing inspiration from her 1950s and 60s fashion – a nod to her late grandmother.

It marked the fifth time Eugenie has worn the piece, cementing its sentimental value.

Meanwhile, Beatrice has been seen in six Erdem dresses. She tends to favour mid-length, fit-and-flare floral styles, often with refined details such as lace and delicate prints.

A standout in her collection is the Lily Pelham dress – a blue, grey and pink floral silk-crepe design overlaid with black lace. She has worn the piece on multiple occasions, highlighting it as a staple in her wardrobe.

Emilia Wickstead

Beatrice has long been a devoted fan of British designer Emilia Wickstead, with several signature dresses appearing in the royal’s wardrobe.

Most recently, she wore the elegant Elta dress in steel blue to celebrate the launch of a baby shower collection with Alice Naylor-Leyland, in support of the Borne charity.

The design features a flattering fit-and-flare silhouette and subtle crossover detailing.

At Royal Ascot the previous year, Beatrice turned heads in a green floral Emilia Wickstead number, styled with a raffia fascinator and coordinating pumps.

Another favourite from her collection is the pale pink Dionne dress, which she has worn for both Trooping the Colour and Easter Sunday celebrations. The same frock has also been seen on Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.

While Eugenie may currently have just one Emilia Wickstead piece in rotation, it’s certainly memorable.

She wore the Amila dress in bold orange, styled with black accessories, to the Platinum Jubilee Thanksgiving Service in 2022, making a vibrant fashion statement at the historic event.

Beulah London

Beulah London is a clear favourite of Beatrice, who owns an impressive collection of twelve dresses from the British label, including four versions of the Ahana style.

One standout moment came at last year’s Buckingham Palace Garden Party, where she brightened up the grey weather in the crimson Christina dress, complete with pearl buttons and a frilled high neckline.

More recently, in June, Beatrice opted for a pink gingham co-ord from Beulah’s collaboration with VCH and The FairGround founder Ginnie Chadwyck-Healey.

The polished tweed ensemble featured a puff-sleeve peplum top and a coordinating midi skirt that appeared both classic and contemporary.

Eugenie has only been seen in Beulah once – wearing one of the brand’s designs back in 2016 – but given her evolving style and growing interest in British labels, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see her in the brand again soon.

Peter Pilotto

Princess Eugenie wore a custom silk jacquard gown by Peter Pilotto for her 2018 wedding to Jack Brooksbank, and has been a loyal fan of the British designer ever since.

Known for their symmetrical prints and standout silhouettes, Peter Pilotto’s designs have become a go-to for the Princess.

One standout piece in her wardrobe is the multicoloured Gradient Midi Dress, featuring a high ruffled neckline, sleeveless cut and metallic gold leaf pattern.

She has worn it on three occasions, most memorably to Nothing but a ‘G’ Thang: The Art & Archive of G-Dragon, where she styled it with gold strappy heels for a polished finish.

More recently, Eugenie opted for a sophisticated satin gown by the label at the Anti-Slavery Collective’s first Winter Gala in 2023.

The floor-length design, featuring gold button accents and a thigh-high slit, struck the perfect balance of elegance and edge.
