They are two royal women with a shared interest in both the environment and fashion.

Princess Beatrice and Queen Rania will work together as global chairs of the World Economic Forum’s climate change initiative, Giving to Amplify Earth Action (GAEA).

In their new roles, they will be involved in GAEA’s new programme to protect the environment.

Beatrice has also recently opened up about her daughter Athena’s premature birth and how it inspired her to support Borne as a patron, a charity dedicated to preventing preterm births.

Meanwhile, Queen Rania has been a force for change in Jordan, where she has worked tirelessly to improve maternal and infant healthcare. Back in 2007, she inaugurated the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative in Sahab, ensuring newborns and mothers receive the best possible care.

But their similarities go even further than their shared values – the two women have complimentary wardrobes.

Queen Rania has featured on many best-dressed lists. She is known for her sleek tailoring and pairing of traditional Jordanian elements with contemporary designs.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice has undergone a drastic change in style in recent years, shedding her earlier, quirkier choices in favour of sophisticated and elegant pieces.

Both women are sustainable in their choices, both by re-wearing outfits and championing eco-conscious brands.

The pair are also known for their voluminous, bouncy blow-dried locks that have become a signature part of their looks.

Both have also built impressive collections of designer handbags.

From Louis Vuitton to Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta, these royal ladies have a shared love for high-end brands, often choosing similar styles.

Under the GAEA initiative, Beatrice will be promoting the leadership of more women in technology to create diverse solutions to climate change.

It is not the first time the pair have worked together. In 2015, Beatrice and Rania attended the Women in the World summit, where global leaders meet to offer solutions for a better future for women and girls.

Queen Rania and Princess Beatrice have proven there’s much more to them than their enviable closets.

Together they represent a new wave of royals, being both approachable, relatable, and invested in leaving a meaningful legacy.
