Zara Tindall, a renowned equestrian and member of the British royal family, recently showcased her remarkable show jumping talents during a photo session on the Gold Coast.
At 44 years old, Zara demonstrated her expertise and comfort on horseback as she tackled the course on Saturday. This event preceded the eagerly anticipated Magic Millions Carnival.
Clad in a stylish dark navy ensemble complete with riding breeches, boots, helmet, and sunglasses, Zara skillfully maneuvered through the arena’s obstacles with apparent ease.
During the session, Zara, who is the daughter of Princess Anne, took a moment to review images from the shoot. The photos highlighted her riding her white horse and clearing jumps with grace.
The former Eventing Worldwide Champion seized the opportunity to practice for upcoming competitions, pausing occasionally to confer with a trainer on her performance.
Just a day prior, Zara was spotted catching up with Australian socialite and racing figure Kate Waterhouse, adding a touch of glamour to her visit.

The royal was spotted enjoying a chic shopping trip with Kate, as the pair soaked up the pre-race atmosphere ahead of the prestigious carnival.
The pair were joined by Zara’s former rugby star husband Mike Tindall, 47, who appeared content to trail behind as the women shopped, stopping occasionally to chat and laugh as curious onlookers watched.
Mike and Zara are in Australia ahead of the third annual Magic Millions event, for which they are serving as ambassadors.
‘We have always loved Australia and it is like a home from home for us. We have been coming to QLD for so long now it has become a tradition for the start of the year,’ Zara previously told HELLO! Magazine.
‘[We love] coming out of the cold winter and into the warm heat, and the incredible water temperatures. The Gold Coast is just a great place to be – it’s got a bit of everything, from beaches to horses and everything else in between.’
The couple has a long history with the country, first meeting in Sydney more than two decades ago in 2003 during the Rugby World Cup.
Kate, whose family name is synonymous with Australian racing, is also an ambassador this year for Magic Millions.
Zara has a passion for Aussie labels and is often seen riding in their designs.

Rebecca Vallance in particular has become a go-to of Zara’s, with the royal recently wearing a black mini dress by the designer in November to support her cousin Prince William at the annual Tusk Conservation Awards.
She’s worn and recycled Rebecca Vallance for outings at the Royal Ascot and on the red carpet at The Beauty Awards in November 2025, just to name a couple.
‘We formed a particularly special bond with Zara Tindall, as well as Princess Beatrice, through their stylists initially,’ Rebecca told Australia’s Who Magazine in June 2025.
‘I can’t pinpoint exactly how and when these relationships began, but we have been dressing Zara Tindall for quite some time.’
