Cardi B made headlines on Sunday night as she publicly addressed her breakup with Stefon Diggs during a concert performance.
Rumors of a split between the rapper and the NFL player have been circulating since the Super Bowl. Speculation intensified when Cardi, who welcomed their son in November, hinted at the separation.
The “I Like It” singer confirmed the breakup during her Little Miss Drama Tour stop in Los Angeles over the weekend, adding fuel to the gossip flames.
In a fiery onstage moment, Cardi B defended Stefon Diggs against recent criticism from fellow rapper BIA. She called out her rival just before performing her diss track “Pretty & Petty.”
“Let me tell you something, just because I’m not dealing with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about him!” Cardi B declared in a video captured by a fan and shared online.

Speculation had swirled since the Super Bowl that the couple had split up
This passionate outburst seemed to be Cardi’s response to a recent social media jab from BIA, criticizing Cardi’s latest stunt aimed at her.
During her concerts, Cardi has gotten her fans to stay silent after the lyric, ‘Name five BIA songs, gun pointed to your head.’ She closes the moment with the lyric, ‘Bow! I’m dead.’
‘Can u (sic) name someone with more [baby mamas] than receiving yards? I can! and I know that… ykwnvm(you know what, never mind),’ BIA wrote, referring to Diggs.
It has been a turbulent year for the wide receiver on a personal level, with his family growing significantly in 2025.
Diggs welcomed daughter Charliee Harper with Aileen Lopera in April followed by two more children with other women.
Lopera recently dropped a paternity and child support lawsuit after DNA tests confirmed Diggs as the father, and the receiver has since acknowledged the child’s status.
Meanwhile, Cardi also gave birth to her first child with Diggs in November 2025, shortly after the couple publicly confirmed their relationship.
The rapper previously filed for divorce from her former husband Offset in July 2024 and shares three children with him: Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and one-year-old Blossom.

Cardi B raised eyebrows with a frosty message for Diggs ahead of Super Bowl LX
The couple have been linked since early last year and went public with their relationship in May when they were spotted courtside together at a New York Knicks game.
However, they are believed to have split shortly before the Patriots’ 29-13 Super Bowl defeat to the Seattle Seahawks.
Cardi first raised eyebrows when she delivered a frosty pregame message to the football star before the Super Bowl.
When approached by an ESPN reporter before kickoff and asked to share an ‘inspiring message to Stefon’, the Grammy-winning rapper, 33, appeared unimpressed.
Cardi smirked, paused, and offered a curt: ‘Good luck,’ before walking off without adding anything further.
She appeared to drop another big hint that the couple was no longer together when she took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a recap of her gameday experience.
Many fans pointed out that she had nothing to say about the upset loss. Instead, she shared a video of herself dancing at the game after she was one of the many stars who made surprise appearances for Bad Bunny’s halftime show.
