Manager Carlo Ancelotti has extended his contract with Real Madrid until 2026, the LaLiga club said on Friday.
Ancelotti has been at Real since 2021, having previously managed the club from 2013 to 2015. The Italian has won one league title with Real, along with two Champions League trophies and two Club World Cups.
‘Real Madrid C. F. and Carlo Ancelotti have agreed to extend our coach’s contract until June 30, 2026,’ Real said in a statement.

In March of this year, then Brazilian FA (CBF) president Ednaldo Rodrigues told Reuters that Ancelotti was his main target for the position of national team coach.
The work that Ancelotti has been doing at the club this season – including the development of instant superstar Jude Bellingham – is believed to have firmed up his resolve to stay on at Real Madrid.
Perez and Ancelotti are said to have been in constant discussion, but from Real Madrid’s perspective, the club is not thought to have a succession plan for a potential departure.
Despite appearing to be settled at Real Madrid, Ancelotti did not disguise his glee in April when he was first linked with the legendary Brazilian side.
‘I am very excited that Brazil wants me, but I have to respect the contract with Madrid, which I want to fulfil,’ Ancelotti said.
