Ben Chilwell’s Aussie model girlfriend Cartia Mallan announced their relationship to the world on Instagram to celebrate Valentine’s Day earlier this year – and now the Chelsea Premier League star has finally followed suit.

On Sunday the 26-year-old defender posted a shot of him kissing his partner on the cheek in what appears to be a restaurant or bar, accompanied by the caption ‘recently’ – with Mallan quickly replying with her nickname for him as she commented, ‘I love you Benjaween.’

Chilwell’s romance with the 24-year-old ‘It Girl’ model was first rumoured last October.

However, things went up a notch when Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed the pair were dating last December, after he reportedly flew her out to Dubai, just before he started a training camp with Chelsea in Abu Dhabi.

The Aussie commented ‘I love you Benjaween’ when the Chelsea star made their relationship Instagram official on Sunday 

Mallan was seen wearing her man’s checked shirt while they partied in a Dubai nightclub in footage posted on the Instagram page of one of the footballer’s friends.

The Aussie was also seen admitting to being nervous while dressing up for a date with the star in a separate clip.

And when Mallan shared a video of her new life in London in October, shortly after moving to the English capital, fans pointed out that she was visiting Chilwell’s home in Leicester for a private dinner, where the football star treated them to homemade cocktails.

She was also seen cheering Chilwell on during Chelsea’s match against Manchester United on October 22 with her mother Kylie, whom Chilwell follows on Instagram.

Mallan was there for her beau when a hamstring injury meant he couldn’t join the England team in Qatar for last year’s World Cup, despite winning a place in the squad.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted Mallan and her mother Kylie cheering Chilwell on at a Chelsea game last October 

The model has more than 525,000 Instagram followers and has worked with famous brands like Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Viktor&Rolf.

Before jetting off to Dubai with Ben last month, Cartia attended an event held by luxury jeweler Cartier and also shared snaps from her luxury Bryon Bay getaway.

Her Instagram feed proves Cartia loves to travel and has visited Paris, Budapest, Mallorca and Mykonos in recent times.

Chilwell has previously been romantically linked to Holly Scarfone, the model ex of Scott Disick, and Lewis Hamilton’s former girlfriend Camila Kendra.
