Chelsea have reimagined some of the club’s most iconic clothing pieces in a new limited-edition apparel line titled “Reimagined Icons.”
The collection comprises six distinct items, each symbolizing an important chapter in Chelsea’s rich history. Six skilled designers from London have taken these iconic pieces and given them a fresh twist—not merely replicating the past but reimagining and updating it for today’s supporters.
The lineup begins with the 1906 Royal Blue Crew, a jersey with a camouflage design that pays homage to the early years when Chelsea embraced their defining royal blue hue. Next is the Ted Drake Bomber, a modern spin on the jacket famously donned by players during the 1950s under manager Ted Drake.
The vibrant Renaissance Track Jacket pays homage to Chelsea’s successful ‘Italian Renaissance’ era in the 1990s.
The collection also features the Gianluca Pullover, a stylish black sweater that reinterprets the famous knitwear worn by manager Gianluca Vialli during Chelsea’s notable FA Cup win at Wembley in 2000. The Kings of Europe Jersey revitalizes the striking black shirt worn during Roberto Di Matteo’s era, when Chelsea secured their inaugural Champions League victory in 2012.
Finally, the collection features the Champions’ Rings, a modern interpretation of the rings presented by Emma Hayes to her players at the end of her legendary tenure as Chelsea Women’s head coach.
This limited-edition collection is available now online and at the Stamford Bridge Megastore. With only a small number produced, it offers true Chelsea fans a rare opportunity to own a piece of the club’s rich heritage – reimagined for the modern era.
