The latest buzz in the world of football transfers sees Crystal Palace making strategic moves as the transfer window remains wide open. Among the key updates, Palace has secured the services of Evann Guessand from Aston Villa on a loan deal that includes an option to purchase.

On a positive note, Ibrahima Konate has resumed training and is expected to rejoin the squad soon. However, Joe Gomez is likely to miss the upcoming match against Newcastle due to a hip injury.

Fulham seal £27m Bobb deal
Fulham have completed the £27million signing of Oscar Bobb from Manchester City.
The Norway international midfielder, 22, has signed a five-and-a-half-year contract.
Bobb said: ‘I’ve always known Fulham to be a good club, with good players and a great stadium. I spoke to Sander Berge, my good friend, and I spoke to the manager, and he explained what the system’s like, and how the lads are, and how the club is.
‘He seemed lovely, so it was an easy decision basically. It feels great to be here. I had a great day meeting everyone and I’m very excited.’

Collyer poised for Hull loan move
Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer is expected to be confirmed as a Hull City player ahead of their game with Blackburn Rovers tomorrow.
The 22-year old is joining on a six month loan.
Everton look at winger George loan deal
Everton have shown interest in a loan deal for Chelsea’s Tyrique George.
There is competition from clubs in England and Europe for the 19-year-old winger, who has made only five starts for Chelsea this season.
Everton are exploring a number of options to bolster their attack.
Manager David Moyes could let his full back Adam Aznou leave on loan this weekend.
The Barcelona-born Morocco international joined Everton from Bayern Munich last summer but has made just one appearance in the FA Cup defeat to Sunderland.
The 19-year-old has been working to improve the physical side of his game to fit in with the rigours of England but Moyes is open to the Morocco international going out on loan to gain more game experience.
Aznou has interest from La Liga and Bundesliga sides.
Wantaway Mateta ‘doesn’t feel right’ to play for Palace
Jean-Philippe Mateta is not expected to be in the Crystal Palace squad on Sunday as AC Milan push to agree a deal for the France international.
Milan have been Mateta’s preference, but they have so far struggled to meet Palace’s £35m asking price.
The 28-year old has made it clear he wishes to join the Italian giants and has agreed personal terms and the Italians are trying to structure an offer to satisfy Palace.
Mateta is ready to leave and is focused on going to Italy rather than Nottingham Forest who Palace face on Sunday.
Milan have been trying to offload Christopher Nkunku to Roma to make room for Mateta.
Manager Oliver Glasner said: ‘It’s nothing to do with the transfers, he is just not in the right place and doesn’t feel in the right place to play.
‘We have to protect the team and protect him, he will not travel with us to Nottingham.’
Leeds say ‘No’ to Besiktas over keeper Perri Leeds United have rejected an approach from Besiktas for goalkeeper Lucas Perri.
The Brazilian only joined in the summer for £13m from Lyon and has made 16 appearances this season. However, his displays have divided opinion with question marks over his distribution.
Karl Darlow has been brought back into the first team in recent weeks but Leeds are reluctant to disrupt their squad by selling at this stage.
They remain in the frame for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen though Crystal Palace are still examining a deal for the Norwegian also.
Zinchenko heads for Amsterdam
Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko has just landed at Schiphol airport in Amsterdam and is now on his way to his medical at Ajax ahead of a £1.2m transfer.
The Ukrainian cut short his loan at Nottingham Forest and is poised to sign a six-month deal with option for a further year. There would be add-ons if they qualified for the Champions League.
Forest, meanwhile, have had a £20m bid rejected for Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari.

Brighton winger Tommy Watson is in talks to join promotion-chasing Millwall on loan.
A number of other clubs have shown an interest in the England U21 international who was one of the stand-out performers in the Championship for Sunderland last season.
Watson, 19, has made 10 appearances for Brighton this season.
Disasi nears London switch-up
Chelsea defender Axel Disasi is close to joining West Ham on loan.
The Hammers have also made an enquiry for Atalanta’s Poland international midfielder Nicola Zalewski.
Chelsea are to hold further talks with Rennes in their efforts to sign centre back Jeremy Jacquet for this window. The French club want to keep the £56million-rated 20-year-old until the summer.
Pepi deal reaches impasse
Fulham’s pursuit of PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepi has stalled with the clubs around £800,000 apart. PSV want to sign a replacement with time running out and Pepi is content to stay until the summer if nothing can be agreed.
Fulham are also evaluating Genk’s 6ft 2ins striker Oh Hyeon-gyu. The South Korean international has scored ten goals in 30 appearances this season.
Wolves looking at Che Adams
Wolves are discussing a deal for Torino striker Che Adams. The 29-year-old Scotland international has scored five goals for the Serie A side this season.
Wolves have also asked about former Brighton goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen now at Union St-Gilloise in Belgium.
And FC Basel winger Philip Otele and versatile defender Jonas Adjetey are of interest.
Talks over the transfer of Emmanuel Agbadou to Besiktas are at an impasse after they failed to agree on a fee but the Turkish side may resurrect talks with their window open until February 11.

Crystal Palace right-back Daniel Imray is joining West Brom on loan.
Sunderland defender Aji Alese has joined Portsmouth on loan. Wrexham have made an approach for Ipswich forward Sammie Szmodics while defender Conor Coady, 32, has joined Charlton. Bradford City are closing on agreement with Wrexham over a loan deal for striker Paul Mullin.
Leicester City have confirmed midfielder Boubakary Soumare has joined Qatar side Al Duhail.
Watford are close to agreeing a loan for Manchester City left-back Stephen Mfuni, 17.
Banel heads to Derby
Derby have signed Burnley winger Jaydon Banel on loan.
Armstrong in demand
Wrexham, Middlesbrough and Birmingham City are among the clubs asking about Southampton striker Adam Armstrong. The 28-year-old is under contract until 2027.
Armstrong is the joint second-highest goalscorer in the Championship with 11 but has not found the target in any of his past nine league matches. ‘There is a lot of noise and I think that is normal in every single window,’ Saints boss Tonda Eckert told BBC Radio Solent.
MLS clubs are also interested in Armstrong who started out at Newcastle United before making his name at Blackburn Rovers.
