adidas has launched the official match balls for the UEFA Champions League tournaments of the 2025/26 season for both men’s and women’s events, merging stunning design with advanced technology.

Both designs derive inspiration from the skies over the host cities of the respective finals. The men’s ball reflects Budapest’s night sky, featuring blue stars highlighted with gold and adorned with hand-drawn zodiac symbols symbolizing heroism and fate.

The women’s ball draws inspiration from Oslo’s northern sky, integrating dark purple hexagons among the stars, enhanced with neon green gradients and luminescent pink and white accents to mimic the allure of the aurora borealis.

Technical innovations ensure these aren’t just beautiful – they’re built for performance.

Both match balls incorporate the PRISMA surface, with a debossed texture for enhanced swerve and accuracy, a CTR-CORE interior for reliable control, a textured outer layer for improved grip, and a seamless, thermally bonded construction.

Celebrating the celestial above and the sportsmanship below, adidas’ 2025/26 Champions League match balls uniquely blend visual appeal and peak performance, embodying the spirit of European football.
