Barcelona rising star Lamine Yamal has officially revealed his relationship with rapper Nicki Nicole, posting a series of intimate photos on social media.

The 18-year-old Spanish forward and Argentine rap sensation, who has 22 million Instagram followers, have been seen together frequently lately, including at Barcelona’s match against Italian team Como earlier in August.

Until now, however, the relationship had largely flown under the radar – but Yamal has officially removed the lid on the secret.

In a romantic post on X, Yamal shared a photo of them posing with a birthday cake, surrounded by red, white, and pink flowers and heart-shaped balloons. The snapshot was captioned with a cake and hearts emoji.

Nicole, known for hits like Wapo Traketero, Colocao, and Mamichula, reposted the photo with heart-on-fire emojis.

Later, Yamal posted a short video on Instagram from a similar hotel room setting, seemingly filmed by Nicole, again featuring flowers and a cake, showing that they enjoy spending time together both on and off the field.

Nicole, hailing from Rosario, Argentina, became internationally recognized after being the first Argentine to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in April 2021, solidifying her status as a global music icon.

With Yamal dazzling on the field for Barcelona and already a Ballon d’Or hopeful, the duo might become the next famous power couple, akin to “Brangelina” – or perhaps “Laminicole”? Just a thought…
