Inter Miami face a quick turnaround to prepare for their Major League Soccer clash with CF Montreal just a couple days after competing in the Champions Cup.

Miami boss Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino could have a team selection headache after his side are poised to take on Montreal on Sunday following their 2-2 draw with Nashville SC on Thursday night. Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Lionel Messi all played the full 90 in the south Florida side’s dramatic comeback at GEODIS Park, leaving them little time to rest and recover before their return to MLS action.

Will the former Barcelona icons start their fourth straight league contest? Will Jordi Alba return to the lineup amid a battle with the flu?

Here’s how the Herons could lineup as they aim to win their third straight home match.

GK: Drake Callender – The experienced shot-stopper hopes to keep his third clean sheet of the season in front of the Miami supporters.

RB: Julian Gressel – A more defensive position is on the cards for the former Vancouver Whitecaps figure, but you still may see him drift into the midfield on a few occasions.

CB: Tomas Aviles – The young center-back needs to put in a more convincing shift this time around to continue his development.

CB: Nicolas Freire – Serhiy Kryvstov’s shaky showing against the Coyotes sees the former Olympiacos defender partner the heart of defense alongside Aviles.

LB: Jordi Alba – After missing out against Nashville with the flu, the attacking-minded full-back returns to the XI.

CM: Federico Redondo – His debut didn’t exactly go to plan despite the comeback draw, and he needs to adapt quickly to keep his place in Martino’s team.

CM: Sergio Busquets – The anchor in the middle of the park keeps trucking on at 35 years old.

CM: Diego Gomez – It was a rather inconsistent showing on Thursday night but he remains integral to the team’s success.

RW: Lionel Messi – Another breathtaking performance appears to be on the horizon from the Argentinian legend.

ST: Luis Suarez – Martino will look to utilize Suarez for the first hour of the contest before taking him off after Miami have secured the three points.

LW: Robert Taylor – He’s eager to prove himself again and score his third goal of the campaign after remaining on the bench in the Champions Cup tie.
