Tottenham Hotspur midfielder James Maddison and his model partner, Kennedy Alexa, have joyfully announced they are expecting twins again.

The couple, who began their relationship in 2020, are already parents to fraternal twins named Delilah and Rome, who were born in July 2023. Before the twins, Alexa had their son Leo, who was born two years earlier.

They shared the exciting news through a heartwarming Instagram video filmed on a beach with their children.

The video starts with Alexa turning to show her baby bump. Maddison and Alexa then display ultrasound images while posing with their children. The video concludes with Maddison writing the words “Twins again” and “Maddison Twins Part 2” in the sand.

The announcement quickly drew reactions from Maddison’s Tottenham teammates.

Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro reacted with heart-eye emojis, and the official account of Spurs shared a white heart. Dominic Solanke added a comment saying, “Beautiful chaos.”

Meanwhile, Becky Vardy, wife of Maddison’s former Leicester City teammate Jamie Vardy, jokingly wrote, “Welcome to carnage.”

Having two sets of twins is quite rare, but Maddison isn’t the only well-known athlete to share this unique family experience.

Tennis legend Roger Federer and his wife, Mirka Vavrinec, also have two sets of twins. Mirka gave birth to identical girls, Myla Rose and Charlene Riva, in 2009, followed by twin boys, Leo and Lenny, five years later.

With twins arriving again, it looks like the Maddisons are well on their way to fielding their very own five-a-side team at home.
