Lamine Yamal took a swipe at Jude Bellingham as he celebrated Barcelona’s 4-3 win over Real Madrid on Sunday.

Even with Kylian Mbappe achieving a historic hat-trick, Barcelona demonstrated resilience and staged a thrilling comeback victory. Yamal contributed by netting his team’s second goal, helping secure a win that puts them seven points ahead at the top of the La Liga standings, with only three games remaining.

Following the match, Yamal shared a photo of himself in action on Instagram. His caption read, “Don’t forget to like this one too” — a witty jab aimed at Jude Bellingham and Real Madrid icon Sergio Ramos regarding their recent social media engagements.

Earlier in the week, after Inter eliminated Barcelona from the Champions League, both Madrid players liked Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni’s post, which featured the Italian standing triumphantly over a fallen Yamal.

Yamal’s message was clearly a popular one inside the Barcelona dressing room. Forward Ferran Torres, who walked away with three assists, responded with laughing emojis, and centre-back Inigo Martinez urged Yamal to “keep dancing”. Gavi simply described the winger as “the best”.

Interestingly, Barcelona transfer target Marcus Rashford also responded to the post. The Manchester United forward, who is believed to be taking action behind the scenes to try and facilitate a summer switch to Catalonia, replied with “Young King”.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Yamal admitted the victory over Madrid was the perfect response to Barcelona’s Champions League heartbreak.

“Barca is the club of my life, to play in a Clasico and score a goal, it’s incredible,” he said. “We could’ve scored more today!

“I told my mother that there is a new Champions League season every year… and we will keep fighting for it. It was a very important match, after the Champions League elimination we wanted to win. Now it’s time to enjoy.”
