Booth’s brother, USA international Taylor, plays for Utrecht in Holland and been attracting interest from Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.

The 19-year-old is yet to win a first appearance for Leicester, but has so far managed to accrue a combined 38 matches for the U21s and U18s in his three years at the  club.

Booth’s elder brother, Taylor, has however been of increasing interest from United, having been compared to their former target Frenkie de Jong.

Now at Utrecht, he followed in the footsteps of Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie and Tyler Adams, in making the move to Germany, joining Bayern Munich from Real Salt Lake’s youth academy in January 2019 before leaving on a free in 2022.

Ten Hag, a former manager of Utrecht, never coached the young American, but still has close ties to the club and is understood to be a keen admirer of his talents.
