The 2023/24 Premier League title looks set to be decided by a three-horse race in the run-in as champions Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal all eye up domestic glory.

Pep Guardiola’s City are pushing for a second treble in as many seasons but their slow start to the campaign has opened the door for a pair of English giants to barge their way into championship contention.

While they’ve since put together a storming run to place themselves among the contenders heading into the final third of the campaign, City look like they’ll have to deal with two teams capable of staying in the hunt until the closing stages.

With so much at stake in the final few months of the campaign, here’s how Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal’s fixtures during the run-in compare.

Liverpool have put themselves in a fantastic position approaching the final few months of the season, even with injuries piling up in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

The Reds sit at the top of the English top flight and have a decent-enough run-in to look forward to, though there’s no denying the clash with Man City in early March will have a major impact on the title race.

Mohamed Salah and co will feel they should be able to manage victories in heated away games against Everton and Manchester United, with more defining fixtures to come in May against Tottenham and Aston Villa.

Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal all play at home on the final day of the league season, with the Reds finishing off against Wolves at Anfield.

Liverpool have already ensured Klopp’s last season on Merseyside won’t end trophy-less thanks to the recent Carabao Cup triumph over Chelsea at Wembley.

However, there’s more silverware on the line in the final few months of the campaign. The Reds visit Man Utd in the FA Cup quarter-finals and also have two Europa League last-16 matches against Sparta Prague to navigate in early March.

It’s Man City who arguably have the most favourable set of league fixtures. They’ve once again timed their charge well, though the Cityzens still need to shake off the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal to claim an unprecedented fourth Premier League title on the trot.

The trip to Anfield is huge, while their first two games after the March international break are at home against Arsenal and Champions League chasers Aston Villa.

Points should arrive pretty readily from that point on, with the trip to bogey ground Tottenham the only fixture that might make Man City fans wince. That said, they broke that curse earlier this season with a slender win in the FA Cup.

City’s silverware hopes will go down to the wire this season but they remain well placed in the FA Cup and Champions League.

The treble winners should secure a quarter-final spot in Europe after taking a 3-1 lead from the first leg of their last-16 tie with Copenhagen, while they’ll be the team to beat in the FA Cup, too.

Arsenal have given their Premier League title hopes a major shot in the arm with some heavy victories over Liverpool, West Ham and Burnley.

However, their final fixtures in the run-in complicate their hopes of a first league title since 2003/04 somewhat. The Gunners still face away trips to Man City, Brighton, Wolves, Tottenham and Man Utd, while Chelsea and Aston Villa will visit the Emirates Stadium before the season is up.

The north London giants have shown enough desire to suggest they could still be in the mix come the final day, when they’ll host Everton.

While Mikel Arteta’s side have blown teams in England away at the start of 2024, there’s still work to be done in their last-16 tie with Porto after a 1-0 defeat in Portugal.

There’s every chance the Gunners overturn that deficit to reach the quarter-finals, but there’ll be no FA Cup glory for the north Londoners after they were knocked out by Liverpool in the third round.
