Liverpool stars had to put their video game skills to the test after taking part in a hilarious edition of FC 24 that featured a host of forfeits.

Alexis Mac Allister, Darwin Nunez, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai were all involved in the foursomes match of the popular football video game.

Midfield partners Mac Allister and Szoboszlai were on the same team, while Nunez and Gravenberch partnered each other. Both sides played as Liverpool in the kick-off mode encounter.

The forfeits edition of the popular game saw both teams answer questions based on Liverpool players and their FC 24 statistics throughout the single match.

Individuals who answered incorrectly would have to serve a forfeit while play continued. If you answered with the correct answer then there would be no punishment.

Uruguayan striker Nunez faced one of the toughest forfeit after guessing the wrong answer when he was asked by presenter Nubaid Haroon who was the strongest player at Liverpool.

Nunez was reprimanded after stating Mohamed Salah was and subsequently was handed a pair of Alisson’s goalkeeping gloves that he had to wear until the other team scored.

The huge gloves made it difficult for the 24-year-old to press the buttons on the Playstation controller and his efforts left Gravenberch seriously unimpressed after they conceded.

Mac Allister and Szoboszlai went behind early on in the virtual match but showed strong footballing knowledge with the Argentinian’s only forfeit coming after he claimed Trent Alexander-Arnold had the most shots from outside the box last season.

Unhappy with getting the answer wrong, Mac Allister had to substitute himself out of the team and bring Reds striker Cody Gakpo on in his place.

Further misery followed for Gravenberch and Nunez when the former Bayern Munich midfielder fumed after getting another answer wrong and was told to play with the controller upside down for 40 seconds.

His competitiveness caused him to temporarily cheat in doing so before being spotted not following the rules of the match.

Mac Allister and Szoboszlai rallied to come from behind and win the chaotic match 3-1.
