The left back, 19, is highly rated by the Reds and several members of the hierarchy at Liverpool see him at a future starter for the six-time European champions.

But he is not ready yet, and, according to The Sun, Famalicao could beat several League One clubs to the loan signing of the Wales youth international.

The chance to play abroad is seen as a positive for Beck, who, after 20 Premier League 2 appearances last season, is now seeking first team football with four years left on his current contract at Anfield.

Born in Wrexham, he joined the Reds at U13 level from Stoke City.

Beck, whose great uncle is Ian Rush, has already made two first team appearances for Liverpool, coming on as a substitute in Carabao Cups wins against Preston and Leicester as Liverpool won a domestic double.

He was also an unused substitute in three Premier League matches.

Beck scored one goal and provided three assists in Liverpool’s youth team last term, also starring in the young Reds’ journey to the UEFA Youth League quarter-finals, making six appearances.

He was also included in Jurgen Klopp’s 34-man training squad for a pre-season camp in Austria.

Though some way down the pecking order compared to his counterpart, the 19-year-old branded fellow Liverpool’s Andy Robertson ‘the best left back in the world at the minute’ in a recent interview with Liverpool’s official website.

‘I watch him and try to pick bits of his game I can try to add to my game,’ he added.

When questioned on seeing players such as Trent Alexander-Arnold succeed after graduating the academy, Beck said: ‘It just inspires us to push even harder.’

It is also suggested that fellow Liverpool youngsters Leighton Clarkson, Sepp van den Berg and Rhys Williams could be set for more loan spells after spending time on loan at Blackburn, Preston and Swansea respectively last season.
