Arsenal players and their partners have jetted out to Norway to celebrate Martin Odegaard’s wedding.

The Gunners captain, 26, was reported to have wed then-pregnant girlfriend Helene Spilling, 29, in November, but without making a song and dance about it on social media. 

Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang said the midfield maestro changed his status to married in the national register while she has adjusted her name to Helene Spilling Odegaard.

Now, seven months on, they have celebrated their wedding with a ceremony in Oslo, Norway, and were seen all smiles on their big day.

The happy couple were joined by Odegaard’s Arsenal team-mates, with Bukayo Saka and girlfriend Tolami Benson seen arm in arm as they entered a vehicle, with the England winger donning a tux.

A number of Arsenal stars were in attendance for the big day, including Bukayo Saka and girlfriend Tolami Benson

Odegaard and Spilling, meanwhile, were seen sat in a car as they posed for photographers, with the midfielder wearing a tux of his own.

Also in attendance were the likes of Kai Havertz, who opted for a tie to accompany his black suit, while Leandro Trossard and wife Laura Hilven also stunned. 

Spilling, meanwhile, who is a professional dancer, looked stunning with slicked black blonde hair and a bridal gown as she stood in a car to celebrate.

She won the 2021 edition of Norway’s dance show, ‘Skal vi danse’, which is like the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing.

She also has 17 gold medals in the Norwegian national championship for ballroom dancing.

Since going public with their relationship in June 2023, they have made an array of cosy appearances together and were seen linking arms while out and about in summer last year.

Spilling boasts an impressive Instagram following of 180,000 and is the founder of adance studio as well as a fashion brand.

She is a keen follower of Odegaard’s football career, appearing in the stands at the Emirates and for his international games.

She has been seen at a number of Arsenal games in support of her lover since the duo met

In April, she was seen dancing to Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)’ – which has become the anthem for Kai Havertz – after a 5-0 win over Chelsea during which Odegaard bagged two assists.

Spilling’s spirits were clearly at a high as she danced away in the stands, while Odegaard applauded the home fans after the victory.

They were first seen in public as a couple at the London Football Awards in March 2023 and he regularly crops up in her social media feed.

In August, the lovebirds posted a black-and-white photo by the sea as they cradled her baby bump, writing: ‘1+1 = 3. Can’t wait to meet you, our little baby.’
