Michael B. Jordan is in the process of designing a kit for Premier League team Bournemouth, according to majority owner Bill Foley.

Jordan has spent just over a year as co-owner of Bournemouth after leading a minority ownership group which invested in the club when Foley took over in late 2022.

The Hollywood superstar attended a match on England’s south coast shortly after the takeover in December 2022, and 13 months on he is said to be ‘all in’ on helping Bournemouth boost its global image.

‘Mike is a great guy,’ American businessman Foley said about Jordan during an appearance on CBS Sports.

Bournemouth’s majority owner Bill Foley says Jordan is helping boost the club’s global profile

‘He’s a very down-to-earth, common individual. He hasn’t got stars in his eyes. He loves football. He is really helping us in terms of some of our international marketing and marketing in the U.S.

‘He is designing a kit that will go on sale shortly. He is engaged and we love having him. In fact, I believe he’s going to be in Bournemouth today and tomorrow to watch practice.

‘He’s all in and it’s good to have him. And he’s a terrific guy.’

Jordan is most famous for his lead role in all three Creed films, the modern-day instalments of Sylvester Stallone’s iconic Rocky franchise, as well as Marvel’s Black Panther.

During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in the UK last year, the actor revealed why he made the decision to invest in Bournemouth along with Foley.

‘It is crazy and amazing. One reason I wanted to invest is that there was so much potential there,’ he told viewers.
