Adidas, a leader in sportswear, has teamed up with Drama Call, a streetwear brand from Manchester, to create a nostalgic Manchester United collection. This lineup is inspired by the club’s victory in the 1991 Cup Winners’ Cup.

The centrepiece of the drop is a reimagined version of the ’91 final shirt – a design forever etched into United history.

This modern design features a long-sleeved white shirt with red Three Stripes, the adidas Trefoil, and the club’s crest. Drama Call adds their unique touch with a stylized star logo replacing the usual competition badge on the sleeve, appearing on the collars and cuffs, and subtly as a large motif across the front.

Beyond just the shirt, the collection branches out into lifestyle fashion, including half-zip tracksuits, hoodies, tees, caps, and even a soccer ball, all showcasing the same blend of adidas tradition, United’s identity, and Drama Call’s vibrant graphics.

The fusion of club tradition with streetwear sensibility creates a capsule that feels equally at home on the terraces and the high street.

Manchester United players showcased the new collection when they arrived at Old Trafford for their 3-2 victory over Burnley, providing a first public appearance for the new gear.

In the historic 1991 final against Barcelona, Mark Hughes was the hero with both goals in a 2-1 win. In the recent match against Burnley, it was Bruno Fernandes who shined, scoring a last-minute penalty to secure another thrilling victory for United.

Whether in European competitions three decades ago or in today’s Premier League, the collection’s jersey appears to bring good fortune. Perhaps Manchester United should consider wearing it more frequently.
