Nuno Espirito Santo has scrapped plans for a training camp at St George’s Park after his team were held to a surprise draw by Blackpool.

The League One club will now have the chance to knock out Nottingham Forest in a replay at Bloomfield Road next week.

Nuno replaced Steve Cooper as manager last month and had been keen to give his squad a crash course in his methods, with no Premier League fixture scheduled before Forest travel to Brentford on January 20.

‘The best thing for the team is to prepare for the replay, so we will have a small break and then start working towards that game.

‘The FA Cup means a lot to us and it means a lot to the supporters.

‘We want to go back to Wembley but to do that we have to handle these games better. We can’t play again like we did in the first half.’
