Oasis paid homage to England’s triumphant Euro-winning Lionesses during a recent concert at Wembley, where several team members witnessed the acknowledgment firsthand in the audience.
Returning to touring after a hiatus since 2009, the Gallagher siblings are electrifying packed arenas worldwide with their eagerly anticipated reunion shows. During a recent magical night at Wembley Stadium, the band offered more than just beloved classic tunes.
Amid the vast crowd of 90,000 were some of the Lionesses’ Euro 2025 stars, notably goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, whose penalty shootout brilliance clinched England’s victory over Spain in the final match.
Before launching into the iconic Roll With It, Liam Gallagher took a moment to dedicate the song to “the real Lionesses,” earning enthusiastic cheers from those in attendance.

Elsewhere, Alessia Russo, who netted England’s equalizer during the final, was seen engaging in conversation with Noel Gallagher’s daughter Anaïs. Russo, Hampton, and teammate Alex Greenwood also posed for photos with former Spice Girl Geri Horner, all proudly wearing Oasis-themed Adidas jackets, embracing their inner superfans.
Later in the night, Greenwood shared a clip of the band’s emotional encore performance of Don’t Look Back In Anger.
The Lionesses aren’t the only footballers who’ve turned out for an Oasis reunion.
Manchester City duo Pep Guardiola and Jack Grealish were also spotted at the band’s Heaton Park show earlier this summer.
Guardiola was caught singing along to Don’t Look Back in Anger before retreating backstage to meet the Gallagher clan, while Grealish — amid speculation about a possible departure from the Etihad — expressed his unwavering affection for City in an emotionally charged late-night video.
