Erling Haaland produced a fearsome goalscoring display with the Man City forward netting five times to inspire a 6-2 win over Luton Town in the FA Cup fifth round.

The Norwegian completed a hat-trick inside 40 minutes at Kenilworth Road, scoring twice after the break.

Four of Haaland’s efforts were assisted by Kevin De Bruyne, with the duo demonstrating their devastating connection ahead of the Manchester Derby on Sunday.

John Stones – 7

Pushed into midfield throughout the match and helped Man City build waves of attack on the Luton goal. Laid the ball into Kovacic’s path for the Croatian to add City’s sixth of the evening.

Manuel Akanji – 6

Combined with Matheus Nunes in the build-up to Man City’s opening goal.

Heavily involved in the build-up to Man City’s opener with the Portuguese midfielder picking out De Bruyne’s run with a fine pass.

Bernardo Silva – 7

Operating on the right wing, Silva was as influential as ever. His well timed pass found Haaland in space, with the Norwegian taking a touch and blasting through Tim Krul for his fifth of the evening.

Kevin De Bruyne – 9

Four assists for the brilliant Belgian on his return to the starting line-up, with his second showing his quick thinking and vision to release Haaland in two touches. 

City fans chanted his name after setting up Haaland’s fourth. 

A week after Guardiola revealed De Bruyne had ‘niggles in his hamstring’, the Belgian completing the full match suggests he is now back to full fitness. 

Jack Grealish – 6.5

Looked distraught when he went off injured in the closing minutes of the first half.

After speaking with Man City medical staff, Grealish took his place on the bench with his head in hands and coat covering his face.

Guardiola confirmed post-match that the England international looks to have suffered a recurrence of a groin problem.
