Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alexandre Letellier and his family were reportedly threatened by knife-wielding burglars during a raid on their home on Monday night.
The 33-year-old, wife Chloe and their two children aged six and two were confronted by four criminals demanding money and jewellery.
Letellier’s wife was struck in the face during the raid, according to a report by RMC Sport in France.
They immediately called the police but the criminals had by this time broken into their property and threatened the family at knifepoint.

However, the police quickly arrived and arrested three of the four criminals – a 21-year-old adult and two 16-year-old minors. They were placed in police custody by the Versailles judicial police.
A police officer suffered a knee injury in the process of detaining them.
RMC reported a knife was found at the scene and various items stolen from the house were found on the suspects.

Letellier is currently PSG’s third-choice goalkeeper, behind Gianluigi Donnarumma and Keylor Navas in the pecking order.
He has played just twice for the French champions since arriving from Orleans in 2020.
Letellier stated his career at the Parc des Princes and has also played for French club Angers.

On Saturday, the Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne’s 70-acre villa in his native Belgium was also targeted by burglars.
The footballer, his wife Michele and their three children were not at the property at the time of the raid.
Belgian news outlet HLN said items had been taken but no further details were available. The burglars used a stepladder to reach the first floor of the property in Bolderberg, Heusden-Zolder.
