Real Madrid are targeting young Monaco sensation Aurelien Tchouameni ahead of the summer transfer window after missing out out on Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe confirmed a new three-year deal with the Paris Saint-Germain despite the fact Real Madrid were happy to match the terms offered by the Ligue 1 giants.
As a result, Real Madrid have identified Tchouameni as their priority target for the summer transfer window, according to Marca via The Mirror.

Tchouameni is one of the most coveted young talents in Europe after bursting onto the scene with the Ligue 1 side in 2019.
The 22-year-old rising star is now an indispensable member of the French team – playing 50 times this season.
His performances in the middle of the park have helped lift Monaco to fourth place in the French top flight this season. As a result, they could secure Champions League football.
Madrid have already taken a promising French talent to the Bernabeu in Eduardo Camavinga and now they are hoping to add another to their team ahead of the 2022-2023 campaign.

United’s in-coming manager, Erik ten Hag, is also said to be a huge fan of the his versatility
However, Manchester United, Chelsea, Juventus and PSG are also said to be interested in acquiring the youngster’s services for next season.
Manchester United will be particularly interested in signing Tchouameni as they are looking to fill the void left by the imminent departures of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.
Additionally, Manchester United’s in-coming manager, Erik ten Hag, is also said to be a huge fan of the 22-year-old’s versatility.
Meanwhile, Liverpool has also been linked with the player. Last month Sportsmail reported that Jurgen Klopp was a huge fan of the player and that the Reds were weighing up a move for the Frenchman.
