Tottenham chief Daniel Levy has vowed to NEVER sell to a Manchester club again as he deeply regrets allowing Kyle Walker to join Man City… coming as a major obstacle to Man United in their pursuit of Harry Kane this summer

  • Tottenham sold Harry Kane to Manchester City for £45m back in 2017
  • Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has never forgiven himself for sanctioning the deal
  • He now has a policy of never selling to either City or Manchester United

Daniel Levy has no intention of ever selling to the two Manchester clubs again with the Tottenham chairman still regretting allowing Kyle Walker to join City back in 2017.

Levy sanctioned the £45m sale of the England right-back to City and he has been one of the best right-backs in the world in the six years since.

Sportsmail has learned that Levy has never forgiven himself for letting it happen and has vowed never to make the same mistake again.

This policy now represents a major obstacle in United’s pursuit of Walker’s England team-mate Harry Kane.

Speculation continues to surround Kane’s future at Tottenham, with the England captain unlikely to win a trophy with his club yet again this season.

If the 29-year-old is to join another club in pursuit of silverware it is thought that this will be the summer.

Kane’s contract expires at the end of next season so Spurs will be very aware that this could be their final chance to cash in.

It is believed the north London club are looking for a fee in the region of £100m though this could be lowered if aren’t playing in Champions League next season.

Levy is a notoriously hard man to negotiate with for any club and his particular resistance to City and United could make negotiations very difficult for the latter.
