Wolves remain in talks with Southampton over a deal for striker Che Adams, who the Championship club will allow to leave under the right circumstances.
Mail Sport revealed on Thursday that Adams was high on Wolves’ list after they decided Leicester’s £20million asking price for Kelechi Iheanacho was too high.
Adams has only one year left on his contract and is keen to return to the Premier League following Saints’ relegation last term.
The south coast club are set to bring in a readymade replacement for Adams after reportedly agreeing a fee with Sunderland for forward Ross Stewart.
