The Women’s Super League continues to enhance its burgeoning reputation and the January transfer window could see more world-class talent arrive in England’s top flight.

Clubs have been working diligently behind the scenes to bolster their squads ever since the market re-opened on 1 January as they strive to match the relentless growth and competitiveness shown throughout the WSL. They have until 31 January to make deals before the window closes for the remainder of the 2023/24 term.

The current season is arguably the most fiercely contested campaign to date, with several top-flight giants vying for the title and relegation becoming a pressing concern for several teams.
