BLACKFORD COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — A terrifying scene unfolded in Indiana when a group of children spotted flames consuming their neighbor’s home. Their quick-thinking response turned them into heroes, as they managed to rescue the woman inside, saving her life.

For over a decade, Nina Osgood has been a steadfast caretaker for five children while their mother, Keisha Gerber, worked long hours. Osgood’s willingness to help has been invaluable to the family, offering her support whenever needed.
