A handy charger for every Switch Joy-Con you own is just $20

Fastsnail has emerged as the frontrunner in producing a Joy-Con charging accessory that outshines both Nintendo’s version and those from other brands. Their sleek charging dock is designed to accommodate Joy-Cons from both the original Switch and the new Switch 2. Each port is versatile, allowing either the rail-based charger from the original Switch or the specialized connector from the Switch 2 to fit seamlessly (the Joy-Con 2 conveniently snaps onto the dock, even though it isn’t magnetized). In comparison to Nintendo’s $30 charger, which only supports charging two original Switch controllers simultaneously, this $19.99 offering on Amazon is the more economical choice, typically priced at $24.99.

Having personally tested this charging accessory, it performs its function effectively. A USB-C to USB-A cable allows it to connect easily to your Switch’s dock. LED lights seamlessly indicate charging status: glowing orange when a Joy-Con is charging and blue when it is fully charged. A simple touch-activated button allows you to power the Fastsnail dock on or off. Be aware that its vivid blue LEDs might activate on their own occasionally, even when no Joy-Con is docked, which is worth considering if you plan to place it in a bedroom.
