Analogue’s 4K N64 has been delayed again, but only by a month

The Analogue 3D has encountered yet another delay but is still slated to launch this summer. In a recent update on its preorder website, Analogue revealed that its modern version of the Nintendo 64 “is now shipping in late August 2025,” after previously targeting July. The company attributed this decision to the fluctuating US tariff situation in a separate statement.

In a post on X, the company detailed, “Following last week’s sudden tariff changes, Analogue 3D will now begin shipping next month. We’re absorbing the costs — your preorder price remains unchanged. No additional charges. Late August, the wait ends: reviews will be released with everything we’ve been holding back for this occasion.”

The $249.99 Analogue 3D, like its past hardware, is a modern console created to play old games, specifically N64 cartridges. This new console has the capability to upscale classic games to 4K and offers various display modes to replicate the appearance and sensation of a CRT display. The company claims it supports 100 percent of N64 cartridges. Initially scheduled for a 2024 launch, it has experienced several delays since its initial announcement.
