The $100 monthly subscription is positioned to directly rival Anthropic’s similarly priced “Max” tier for Claude. With this move, OpenAI provides a compelling middle-ground option for users between the more economical $20 Plus tier and the more costly $200 Pro tier.
Interestingly, OpenAI now offers dual “Pro” tiers. While both maintain access to all Pro features, the higher-priced option extends even greater usage limits, catering to the most demanding users.
