Tech companies frequently assert that certain AI features will revolutionize everything. However, when asked for specific, tangible examples of how these AI tools should be utilized, their responses tend to be underwhelming. Often, AI tools appear so broad in scope that it becomes challenging to figure out where to begin or determine the best way to employ them.

Here at The Verge, we are tasked with testing all these AI tools to provide better insights into the features and the companies behind them. Through this process, we’ve discovered some scenarios where they can actually be beneficial.

In this bonus episode of The Vergecast, Senior Reviewer Victoria Song joins several Verge team members to discuss how they incorporate AI tools into their daily routines. Although not everything went seamlessly—we discuss the shortcomings of these tools—we delve into how AI can assist parents with bedtime routines, facilitate major relocations across the country, enhance internet research (always verify!), and even help in coding an app for your upcoming tabletop role-playing game.

If you have any personal examples of how AI has been beneficial for you, we would love to hear them. (We’re also interested in stories of where it failed spectacularly.) You can reach out via email at [email protected] or call the Verge Hotline at 866-VERGE11.
