Fortnite is set to launch on the Xbox app for PC starting November 18th. Currently, PC players are required to use the Epic Games Launcher to access the game. However, those who prefer using the Xbox app on their PC will soon have that option available.

With this change, Fortnite will also be part of the Xbox Play Anywhere initiative. This means that players’ progress and purchases will effortlessly sync across Xbox consoles, PCs, and compatible gaming handhelds, according to Microsoft. This feature could enhance the experience for those who enjoy gaming on devices like the Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X, offering more flexibility for portable gaming sessions.

Additionally, on November 18th, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will receive a bonus in the form of Epic’s Fortnite Crew subscription. This membership grants players a new skin, 1,000 V-Bucks each month, and access to all Fortnite battle passes, enabling the collection of items to enhance gameplay across its various modes.
